Session Fees & Insurance

How long is each session?  

Most nutrition therapy sessions are 60 minutes. The initial session may run 90 minutes depending on the complexity of a person's case history. Follow-up sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes.

How much does each session cost?

Initial Session, 90-minutes is $200.00 (90 minutes is typical for a complex case)

Initial Session, 60-minutes is $150.00 

Follow-up Session, 50-60-minutes is $150.00

Follow-up Session,  30- minutes is $75.00 

Payment is due at the time of service.  

Payment Methods accepted:  Cash. Credit Card, HSA card, or Venmo, or check. 

What types of insurance do you accept?

I am a provider for Independence, Horizon, and Capital Blue Cross Blue Shield insurances. I am out of network for all other insurances. Since insurance coverage and plan participation can change at anytime, I invite you to please call me so I may provide you with  the most up-to-date information. Also, always verify your plan coverage by calling your insurance provider.

If you don't accept my insurance, can I still submit a claim to my insurance company?

In the event that I do not accept your your insurance, I will give you a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance company. You may be able to receive reimbursement through your out-of-network provider benefit or though your healthcare spending account (HSA).

Do you provide referrals if my insurance plan does not cover your services?

I am always happy to help you find the care you need and that is most affordable for you. I have an extensive network of colleagues to whom I can refer. Please email me for these resources.
